Caliber Financial Planning Ltd is a boutique Independent Financial Advice firm situated in South Oxfordshire. We provide a truly holistic, high quality and professional service to our clients, the vast majority being both loyal and long standing.
We already provide advice to third generation clients and the company has been set up to continue, rather than as a business to be sold. As such, we provide considerable job satisfaction and security.
Opportunity Overview
Irrespective of your current position or experience, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner who is looking to progress into a full advisory role and ultimately become a junior partner. You will be working with all members of our team but in particular alongside our Director and founder of the business, who is an Industry professional and Chartered Financial Planner.
Job Responsibilities
· Conduct research of products/funds.
· Production of suitability letters/reports.
· Communicate with our clients both verbally and via email, albeit initially in a non advisory capacity.
· Overall responsibility for client annual reviews.
· Providing support to our small administrative team.
The above is not an exhaustive list. In addition, you may be involved in special projects and any other tasks deemed beneficial to our clients.
Training and Development
We will provide ongoing training and support throughout your career with us, both in house and via external training events from third parties. However, you will be expected and encouraged to progress by undertaking industry relevant qualifications and via continued professional development. As such, the only barrier to your progression will be your own ability and/or desire.
To become familiar with our systems and aid your development, you will be based in our office in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. However, some flexibility will be considered.
About You
You will already have made a start with professional qualifications and hence demonstrate your commitment to your chosen career path. Ideally you will be further progressed with these, however, having the right character and attitude to work is more important. We are looking for a bright individual with a positive, can-do approach to work. You must have an optimistic outlook and excellent communication skills. We will chose the applicant who has the right attitude over current ability and qualifications, as we are happy to train and progress the ideal person.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a market salary and regular progression increases. It is anticipated that a further increase will occur when you start to provide financial advice. In time, once achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and providing advice to our high net worth clients, you will be further rewarded with an equity stake in the business and become a junior partner.
